blooms outward from this original conviction.
In Singapore, the city’s sharp angles surrender to lush foiliage and soft shadows, and grand hulking masses of metal are shaped to take on the forms of nature.
This collision is the core belief in Botanica's design.
Botanica starts at the front edge and grows outward from there.
Its profile changes as it travels across the board, like a shoot following the light.
The curves aren't repeated simply because they can be; each is resolved against the one before it.
The USB port does not interrupt the center accent, but emerges from it.
The bevels at the top and bottom case reference the moment a flower bud breaks open.
The twist is the structural logic that reveals the third accent colour on its side.
Standard keyboard cases use linear surfaces, small edge breaks and monolithic assemblies, optimising for machinability and failure rates.
Botanica rejects this:
continuously changing geometry, sweeping bevels and a three-tone construction; All completely unnecessary for a keyboard, but absolutely necessary for this one.
